Video games have been blamed for everything from youthful violence to the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction, but a company called Unique Logic and Technology has found a positive benefit: helping those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Their product, called Play Attention, includes a helmet with sensors that allows software to tell when the player is concentrating, rewarding them for good focus. In addition, those without ADHD have reported a boost to concentration as well.

The $1,800 package is marketed to schools and other organizations, and after eight to twelve months shows permanent results. SChools are already using it with positive results, and the U.S. Olympic Bobsled Team found it gave a competitive edge.
