Nintendo confirmed via a Twitter post that playable characters Bayonetta and Corrin will be available to purchase as DLC on February 3, 2016 for both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. The sixth wave of Mii Fighter costumes will also be available on this same day.
Bayonetta and the new Umbra Clock Tower stage will be available for $6 individually on 3DS or Wii U, or for $7 as a bundle for both systems. Meanwhile, Corrin will cost $5 individually or $6 for both platforms. Bayonetta costs a buck more because she is bundled with her own stage while Corrin shares the Fire Emblem stage with the other Fire Emblem characters.
Sadly, this will be the final batch of DLC available for Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U. Both Bayonetta and Corrin will be receiving amiibo at some point in the future.
