Blizzard has released the first two player-vs-player Battlegrounds for World of Warcraft. The first of these is Alterac Valley and is intended for two teams of 40 to face each other in battle that can last for hours. The second is Warsong Gulch, which has a capture the flag set up and should take about 45 minutes per round with two teams consisting of just 10 players.
These Battlegrounds give participants the opportunity to earn honor points and other in-game rewards. Of course, these are only the first two. Blizzard is currently working to provide even more Battlegrounds for its customers to slaughter each other on.
