Buena Vista Games announced this week that it is entering into a partnership with Kyoto based company Jupiter Corporation, the developer of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, for the development of Spectrobes for the Nintendo DS. The game will make it's first appearance this week in the Sega booth at the Tokyo Game Show as Sega will be distributing the game during it's Japan release. There will be an accompanying website for the game(www.spectrobes.com) which will allow owners of the game to view webepisodes based on the game, six over the same number of months, and which will end at the worldwide launch of the game in March 15, 2007. These episodes will give players their first glimpse of the main characters of the game, Planetary Patrol Officers Rallen and Jeena, along with giving more information about the Spectrobes. The plot of the game, in short, is that the Krawl are trying to destroy the universe and the best weapon against them are these Spectrobes, fossilized prehistoric creatures with strange powers, that players will be able to train, evolve, and become more powerful as players make their way through this anime themed sci-fi adventure. For more information you can visit the weblink to the official site and, naturally, we at MyGamer.com will be providing more details as they become available.
