Take Two and Firaxis Games have come to a long term agreement that allows the publishing of multiple titles in Firaxis’ roster. To debut the new partnership, Take Two also announced that [i]Civilization IV[/i] is on its way to the PC under the 2K Games label. The fourth title in the long running series, [I] Civilization IV[/i] is focused on becoming a bold step forward for the franchise with a new 3D engine and all-new content.
“The Civilization name brings with it an expectation of quality from millions of fans around the world,” said Susan Lewis, Vice President of Publishing for 2K Games. “It is a pleasure to be working with a company like FIRAXIS that has developers who have proven with every successive title that they are masters of this genre.”

[i]Sid Meier’s Civilization IV[/i] will ship for the PC later this year.
