Nintendo has announced that [i]Donkey Konga[/i] has been shipped to retail stores and is now available for $49.99. Each game will receive one DK Bongo controller and extra DK Bongo controllers will be sold separately for $29.99 each.
While the rhythmically musical game and the Bongo controllers seems to be another gimmick from Nintendo, [i]Donkey Konga[/i] has received favorable reviews from many in the game industry. In [i]Donkey Konga[/i], players pound on the included “bongos” in rhythm with icons on the screen. Think [i]Dance Dance Revolution[/i] for your hands. Songs very from popular mainstream music such as “Whip it” to famous Nintendo themes such as “The Legend of Zelda” and the “Mario Bros Theme.”
