JAMDAT Mobile Inc. has announced the launch of DOOM RPG for mobile phones throughout North America. The game offers a new take on the DOOM universe through exciting role-playing action. DOOM RPG has been co-developed by both Fountainhead Entertainment and id Software.
“The launch of DOOM RPG is a milestone in mobile gaming,” said Mitch Lasky, Chairman and CEO of JAMDAT Mobile Inc. “John Carmack and the id Software team have created a game that delivers the same thrilling gameplay synonymous with DOOM to mobile phones.”
DOOM RPG boasts 10 hellish levels that make up over eight hours of gameplay. The turn based combat system will be easy to control with one hand. JAMDAT Mobile Inc. said that the game would preserve the look and feel of the original DOOM game with classic enemies and weapons, as well as some cool new ones.
