The Sims Life Stories, was announced today to become the next exciting installment in the Sims universe.

The Sims Life Stories pits players in the shoes of one of two protagonists. Players have the ability to follow the lives of either Riley Harlow, a woman who has to choose which man to love, or Vincent Moore, an entrepreneur who is having a rough time believing that he’ll ever find love

The premise is simple enough. Play through a romantic comedy, deciding what each character does to determine the outcome of the story, hence allowing the players the ability to create their own love story. We all know, however, that the Sims isn’t that simple.

These stories are played out through 12 chapters and are laptop friendly. However, if you aren’t into the new way to play The Sims, there is always the ability to play Classic mode. Which is what we’re used to. Hours and hours of decorating, eating, sleeping, shopping, dancing, and all that other stuff.

“Everyone loves a good story,” proclaims Rod Humble, VP Head of Studio for The Sims Division. And that’s what you’ll get.

The Sims Life Stories is scheduled for release on February 2nd, 2007.

Other titles that are scheduled for release in this upcoming franchise are, The Sims Pet Stories, and The Sims Castaway Stories, which are both due out in the Winter of ‘08.
