Electronic Arts, just yesterday, has announced that is has added another game to it's long line of sports related video games It will be released for the Playstation 3 and X-Box 360 in an as yet unspecified quarter of 2007. What makes it different, however, is that this new game, dubbed Skate will be a as realistic as the sport can be without actually doing it yourself. . Players will be offered a more realistic skating experience through the implementation of a new control scheme, camera system, and a virtual city that will be fully reactive to the players actions. Details are slim on what in particular makes the game so unique, but what EA is aiming for is to let you, the gamer, experience what it's like to be a real professional skateboarder as opposed to just hitting a button at the right moment along with a lifelike physics engine designed to add to the realism of your in game experience. Details are slim at this point, and EA has not yet set up an official website for the game, but you can keep coming back here to Mygamer for more information as it become available.
