On March 9-11, the first annual Final Fantasy XI Fan Festival will be held in Santa Monica, CA on the Santa Monica Pier. It will feature many unique events and many things to show off the future of FFXI. The Ballista World Championship (a worldwide PvP tournament) will have its final rounds played for all to watch. Other events include player-created film festival, Q&A sessions, hands-on time with the upcoming Treasures of Aht Urgan expansion pack, and the likely appearance of a horde of cosplayers for your amusement.
