What made you get a Wii U?

2 words and 1 number are literally the only thing that made me even bother with wanting a Nintendo Wii U. I of course mean the game Mario Kart 8 that came out with the console. Being an avid fan of the Mario Kart racing game series, I often look forward to playing the next in the series; it was...

    do you pay for games

I don't like the idea of buying a game for a phone, since it won't transfer over to another phone. I don't know if this is true with ipads or tablets though. I just know that it seems kind of like a waste of money to spend on a game you might not even get to keep due to the various ways there...

Are you pissed that most of the Microsoft exclusives come to PC?

No, I don't really get upset or angry about it. Microsoft owns both computers and consoles so it makes sense that they'd want to put one on the other and vice-versa every now and then. I honestly am not a fan of console exclusive gaming as a market strategy, you make less money that way. So, not...

    Fave Smash Characters

My favorite Smash Characters are Yoshi and Kirby. I'm not really one to play Smash much but I do like to eat people, turn them into an egg, and throw them. At the same time, I also like to swallow my enemies whole for no reason whatsoever. Thus, Yoshi and Kirby are the most appealing characters...

    Favorite Sega Game

While my favorite series as a whole for Sega is, like most people, the Sonic the Hedgehog series; it isn't my favorite individual game from that company. Rather, it's more of a tie between Streets of Rage (despite it's similarities to another game) or Golden Axe II. This is probably because at...

It's the last day of the winter sale, what did you get?

I'm not aware if it was part of the steam sale, but at 50 to 75% off, I can't remember which, I was planning to get Bully: Scholarship Edition. However, thanks to a friend who got me the game, I didn't have to buy it for the steam sale and saved a little chunk of money. Though, I did use some of...

    In-Game Purchases

No, I never buy in game purchases. I'd rather save my money and do the hard work in the game to get the in game revenue instead; after all, at least I know I'm getting my app's worth if I'm willing to put forth that kind of effort into the game itself.

What are you playing these days?

Well, I finally managed to put down Cubic Castles and now I'm investing some much needed time into Don't Starve Together, the Beta version. Thus far, it's going pretty well. I really enjoy playing it, which is good because I was worried it's appeal to me would die rather quickly.

    Most Favorite Open-World Game?

It all depends on the console for me when it comes to open world. For PCs, I can't help but think Warcraft has the best in that regards. As for Playsation 2 games, I'd have to go with the world of Okage. It might not be the biggest of open worlds but I do find it to be one of the most creative.

    Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2

So, I've yet to actually sit down and play either game. To be honest, I haven't really cared much for it's appeal; it's just a game like Slender or other horror genre games. However, I'm thinking more and more about giving the game a real try and seeing if it's really all that scary or not; I've...

What was the first console game you really enjoyed?

Heh Heh Heh, the answer to this never gets old to me. My first console game that I truly enjoyed was the Crash Bandicoot series itself for the PlayStation 1. I remember when we brought it home, nobody did anything for else for hours on end; and that would continue to be the pattern for days...

What have you gotten in the Steam Christmas sales so far?

Well, I'm not sure if it was part of the Christmas sale or not, but Skull Girls was on sale so I got it for a friend of mine who was constantly asking for it for the holidays. Frankly, they don't seem that grateful for it, they didn't even bother with a thank you. but eh, it's the holidays.

Do you think about you the games you play

In this sense, I think everyone thinks about games in that way. Thankfully, most people know the differences between fiction and reality and not to act out certain things. If you're thinking about the game, especially in role playing games, then one of the points is for you to be immersed into...

    Advice and Favourite DS games?

I would say Pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver for the DS. I remember enjoying the differences between this game and it's original; except for the taking away of anything good in the GoldenRod game corner for the U.S release. Another good game would probably be some of the Phoenix Wright games if...

    Don't Starve Together: The issues

As we delve further into Don't Starve's newest update in their game lineup: Don't Starve Together, I can't help but notice some bugs that have been popping up in it's beta. For instance, things like mods you never subscribed to being in your game, not having control of your character, actions...

One Game You're Most Addicted To?

I know I'm mightily addicted to the Digimon World games for the PlayStation One due to my fervent enjoyment of the games. I'm also quite attached to Okage: Shadow King for the PlayStation Two because of the kind of RPG game it is. I haven't seen a world quite the same since, and I don't expect to.

    Jerry's Game

So, a new Adult Swim related game is out. It's basically a boon popping game called Jerry's Game and it's from the Rick and Morty universe respectively. Thus far, it's been getting pretty bad ratings. Anyone want to comment on the game?

Is it me or have the releases of Wii games really declined?

Well, with the Wii U pretty much overshadowing it's predecessor, I'm relatively sure the original Wii game market is bound to decline; similar to what happened with the PS2 and PS1. On the bright side, it does mean original Wii game prices are going to start to slowly lower in stores everywhere.

What Are the Best Wii Games?

I think the best Wii (not Wii U) games for what your asking are ironically No more Heroes and Goosebumps: Horrorland. To play either game, you're going to need space to move your feet or risk hopping about. On the other hand, the Wii fitness game also does a good job of this too.

Silliest reasons to get an Xbox One

I'm not knocking the Xbox One, it's not really my place to, but I wanted to share a story the other day. I stopped by my ex-boss and her husband and wished their family a Merry Christmas since we're still on pretty good terms. When I asked their youngest son what he wanted, he said he wanted an...
