Yeah, I do play on emulators quite frequently. Both on my phone and my PC, actually. Right now I'm around midway thru SNES' Shin Megami Tensei on my phone.

Yeah, there are mini-sales all the time on Steam - from the holiday-based ones like Thanksgiving sales to hemed mini-sales like the French games one they had a few months back. Either way, I recommend Battleblock Theater. It's a really good game and fun co-op. :)

I would upgrade the GPU, maybe the RAM, but leave the CPU. It's not the best out there, but it should be enough for a little while, at least until you can get a good deal on a new one. I don't think there are too many games that actually need a great CPU anyway.

I'm definitely getting one. $100 for a Vita that I can connect to my monitor is a steal, and I really don't care about the portable aspect of it anyway. So yeah, it's a steal for me. Hopefully they will continue to add support to new games as it goes on.

Yes, you will need a new motherboard. Your old one - and your CPU - is extremely old and you should have upgraded that first, tbh. i5 have a different socket from yours.

Yes. Unless game is console exclusive, there's no way I'm ever going to buy it on a console. I mean, other than a bad port, I can't think of a reason to NOT buy the PC version - mods, better framerates, better graphics, better controls depending on the genre...

I thought about it for a while, and I have to say Valiant Hearts. It was amazingly original, emotional and just so nicely made. Everyone should take a look at that game.

Never played any of those. It feels like a waste of time to me, since I can just spend the time to play a real game, even on the go... So yeah, it never appealed to me.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world that didn't like Bioshock. :D I love System Shock, and I actually quite liked Bioshock 2, but I really didn't have any fun with 1 and 3. The gunplay was a big part of why I didn't like it, actually.

I used to play it a ton when I was younger, yeah. I kind of grew disconnected from the whole RTS genre eventually, but this game is still one of my favorites. I think Grey Goo, the new RTS that got released this month, is made by a ton of people who worked on this game, btw.

I mean... Defense of the Planeswalkers - the new one, not the 1996 Microprose one - is really bad, so I would say Hearthstone in that regard. If it was Hearthstone vs. Magic in general, then Magic not close. I really don't see the reason why I'd play Hearthstone with it's awful RNG when I can...

That depends on how you classify the "number one" franchise. I think Gundam Extreme Versus may have made more money than Street Fighter 4, maybe sans the constant kit upgrades for the SF4 arcade versions.
