    Favorite Open World Game(s)?

I think Skyrim is the clear winner in terms of replayability, content and freedom. The large amount of mods further add to this. Until GTA V comes to PC, I don't think there's really any contest.

    What's your favorite MMORPG?

I used to play Runescape a lot, but after they removed free trade and wilderness I quit. It's no longer the game I once enjoyed now, with rife microtransactions. MMORPGs seem to be on a decline in general. The only one I currently play at a casual level is Wakfu, which is pretty unique amongst...

    What is everyone playing currently?

Valkyria Chronicles and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes were 2 titles which I picked up. The former was definitely worth the money, really engaging storyline and challenging gameplay.

    Games to look out for?

Halo 5 is one of the biggest titles on my watch list this year. Other than that, GTA V for PC. Evolve seems to be a bit iffy, it's enjoyable but I don't see it becoming a really popular game as it now stands in the beta.

    Have you tried DiRT Showdown?

It's one of the highest rated games on Steam with a fairly active multiplayer (as far as older racing games go), definitely recommended for people looking for a decent racer.

Is anyone playing The Forest pre-alpha from Steam?

So far it seems like a survival game with plenty of potential, although it is rapidly becoming a genre with many competitors (e.g. DayZ). I wouldn't buy it until it is released as a finished product out of Early Access.

    How many hours gaming?

http://steamleft.com/ Stumbled upon this site, it's pretty cool in that it shows you how much time on average it would take to clear your game library. So you would know how many weeks/years it would take given how many hours you play a week.

    Evolve Beta on Steam

Anyone who owns Bioshock Infinite or previously participated in the Evolve Alpha should have access to the beta now. Also pre-purchasing the game now will give you a free copy of Left 4 Dead. Has anyone tried it so far? It's a pretty interesting game but I honestly feel that more work needs to...

Name your favorite DOTA2 pro player, and why!

Yeah it's pretty sad that his teams haven't been seeing that much success, be it Mouz or Team Tinker. I think he won the most while he was in Cloud9 (and even then it was just 2nd place). Hope he finds a good team and wins big in TI5.

    Disney Infinity

It's Disney's answer to Skylanders, and with so many popular characters at their disposal I think that it could easily overtake the series in popularity.

The worst steam winter sale ever? Or am I just jaded

I didn't spend that much during this sale, but I guess it's because many repeats were brought over from the recent Summer/Autumn sales. That said there were some pretty nice new discounts, especially for Wolfstein, South Park and Shovel Knight.

    Browser-Based Games

I remeber KoL, it was a really silly parody of many MMORPGs but it worked! I spent many afternoons grinding for meat (how's that for a currency!)

    Prison Architect

It's one of the few Early Access games done right on Steam with loads of feedback and developer interaction with alpha players. Plenty of constant updates/improvements being introduced. It went to 5 dollars during the Winter Sale, definitely worth the money. (Also if you pay a little extra you...

    Favorite gaming merchandise

I like buying merchandise from the Valve Store, such as their DotA demihero figures, or TF2 balloonicorn plushies. It's a pretty cool deal since many of their merchandise also come with digital unlocks for exclusive in-game items, which you can use for yourself or trade/sell for other games or...

    Best PC Ports

Do check out the Final Fantasy XIII port on Steam, it's really well done. Hopefully we'll see more of the newer FF series ported to PC on Steam.

Do you think there should be more crackdowns on 'Unfinished Games?'

I think that we should definitely demand better. Unless it is clearly labelled as a alpha or pre-release/Early Access game, I think that most major bugs should be fixed on day one release. However the huge amounts of day one patches have convinced me not to preorder games, it's probably much...

What are you looking forward to in 2015?

For the PC, definitely GTA V. I believe Halo 5 is coming this year for the Xbox One as well, as a huge fan of the series it's definitely on my watch list as well.

Name your favorite DOTA2 pro player, and why!

I don't think that I've ever seen SingSing get angry, even when his teammates screw up really badly. He's a really chill player who jokes around a lot on stream, overall he's a really likable character.

Elder Scrolls Online and Rumors of a move to FTP

A move to FTP would almost certainly spell microtransactions, how else would they make money? The closest and least damaging model I could think of would be like Wildstar or Runescape, where you can buy ingame premium game time for either virtual currency or real money.

    Browser-Based Games

I used to play Runescape and Neopets way back as a kid. Honestly I don't really see the appeal of browser games anymore since with much faster internet speed, better disk space and computer processing power it makes much more sense to have a game client.
