    War Thunder

I used to play it a lot too during its beta days. It was pretty fun then, I can only imagine what it has become now. I wanted to really get into this game and buy a joystick, but all of the joystick players are being utterly destroyed by mouse players. I always loved the design and the models...

Do you prefer the pc version of games over the console?

Yes, but that's only because I have a tricked out PC and don't have any consoles except my old famicom. I'm ok with ports as well because you can still play them through a controller, so porting optimization issues are eliminated.

    Dual monitors?

I use dual curved LG monitors for gaming plus a third 48 inch Samsung LED TV for viewing movies and what not. They are all connected as an extended display so I can watch Breaking Bad while grinding my Barbarian.

    Baldur's Gate 2

It's right up there with the Diablo titles in my opinion. I'll even go as far as saying that Baldur's Gate 2 beats Diablo 3 any day of the week. Maybe it's just the nostalgia kicking in, but looking at Diablo 3 exclusively doesn't exactly give me a very good impression of the game.

    Occulus Rift

I think it's definitely a step in the right direction. It essentially gives developers a new platform for gaming, which is good for the sake of diversity. the applications are also endless. Do you know that the military uses xBox controllers to pilot drones? Think about what they'll use with...

If you could only play three games...

Civilization 5 of course. Tons of replayability in that one. A complete edition of Skyrim with all the added gameplay mods like Falskaar and Skywind(when it's completed). How many gaming hours is that, I wonder? I'd like to say GTA V, but I've yet to see it on PC so, I'll go for Heroes of...

    Warcraft Frozen Throne

I still play it sometimes, but not the campaigns. It's a very well-made game and let's not forget, it's where DotA first started. Overall, the replayability only extends as far as how many new maps are made for skirmish. That, and the multiplayer of course.

What consoles do you currently own that still work?

I've got an old japanese famicom, the red and gold colored ones. It still works and it also has its gun accessory for when I'm in the mood to play Duck Hunt.

Do you think kids play games too much?

I have a rule in my house: if I see their grades slipping or see them falling asleep at the table or hear about them falling asleep in class, I make my children tone down on the games. They're not really hardcore gamers yet thank God and I play with them as well. We usually play for two hours...

What is the very first video game you remember playing...

My first game was probably either the original mario game on the famicom or a game called skifree on the pc, either of those. Sometimes I get a little nostalgic and look for those games to play them in my pc again. So far I only got to play skifree. Maybe I'll fire up my famicom one of these...

Do you think companies should do away with consoles and just make games for PC

No way! The way I see it, multiple platforms breed multiple titles way more than if you only had a single one. Never mind the 'exclusivity' of certain titles, we all know they get ported to the PC eventually whether officially or unofficially. There is more than enough space for competition and...
