For me, it's partly nostalgia. But honestly? I love Pokemon, even now, and I enjoy the games. And they're always improving the gameplay, so its great to have something familiar, yet something improved. From Yellow to ORAS, it's AMAZING how far we've come! I'm looking forward to whatever comes next.

I watch Lets Plays for games I don't have (before I got the Arkham games I did it for those, as well as the newer Metal Gears) I also watch Buzzfeed. A lot.

I'm in the process of saving for one right now. I got a PS3 almost two years ago, but since Arkham Knight came out on PS4 only, I figured I needed to upgrade. :/ Though I'm sure the moment I do, PS5 will be announced, haha. Seems to be my luck.

Maniac Mansion was pretty much my door into the world of gaming, watching my dad play when I was 4 years old. I love it more than him (he got so tired of me asking to play it!) and ended up playing DoTT as well. I do wish the games got more attention and credit! (I would love a MM movie... sigh.)

Just downloaded the Pokemon Shuffle. It's really too bad you can't send your 3DS progress to the phone and vice versa! But I suppose connectivity on the phone will be SO much easier than the 3DS.

Well, keep in mind, for the longest time they did indeed include a third game for many generations. Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum. They stopped doing that with Black and White, where they did direct sequels instead. I suppose it's possible they might go that route with a X&Y 2, but I'm not...

Alas, I'm no good at shooting and sports games. Probably because I have little interest in them. (Though I did enjoy Metal Gear Solid.) But if you give me a keyblade, or a batarang, or a sword? I'm fine. :)

I admittedly don't spend as much as I used to... I used to be on ALL DAY and into the night. But once I started working from home on the internet, I found that I didn't really want to be on it after hours. So now-a-days, its 9-5 instead of 24/7, haha.

I was four. My dad had a Nintendo, and I would watch him while he played Maniac Mansion. Then he started getting games for me, like Ducktales and Mickey's Mousecapades. Before long, I was hooked! Went from that to Playstation 1 with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, and the rest is history.

I agree that $60 is too much. I even feel like (depending on the game) $40 is too much. I would be happy to pay $30 for a new game. But most of the time, I hang off until I can grab it used at Gamestop for far cheaper!

Nah. You have to do what you enjoy. Some of these kids will grow up to create these games. Others will use the imagination they've gained through playing to put towards other uses. And besides: they're fun! And playing games is better (and safer) than some of the other alternatives, right?

The ones I play daily are Jurassic World, Yahtzee With Friends, Monopoly Bingo and the Disney Free Fall games. I used to play Farmville and Spongebob Moves In, but got tired of them. Also played the Arkham Underground Beta, but that disappeared never to be heard from again...

Oh goodness. It was probably Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego. :) My grandmother had it, and I spent my days there when my mom was working, so I would play that.
