    Do you use emulators?

I don't but I've been wanting to get back into playing some dreamcast games. So much games out there to play and master. Dreamcast was laid to rest to early. I still believe it could live another year or so.

Does the Vita have a future?

I call it a slow death. They are slowly pulling resources away and letting it go to the curbside. Look what happened to the original sony portable. Old technology will be let go eventually.

    Target: PS4 Console Bundle + $20 PSN Card = $339.99

I'll wait for the scaled down version with cheaper parts. Hopefully it will hit the $250 mark by next Christmas season.

    Paving way for the PS4

Back in the day I use to think that game developers wanted to push the envelope and make better and more in depth games, but I have to face the reality that it's a money driven business. Making everyone buy the PS4 that has games that are unhackable at the moment would save them millions. The...

    Lockpicking and hacking in games

I remember back in the day the game genie was great to have. You could bring new life into old games. I'm wondering why they don't make those things now. I would love to have unlimited ammo in games like Call of Duty.

Which Console Do You Think Is Better?

Depends on what you want. Do you want a console with multi media machine or a console with higher end graphics? You should also consider the exclusive titles also.

    Favorite Console of All Time

My favorite console was the Sega Genesis. Reason being, at the time of it's release and my age, it opened up new levels of in depth gameplay. It was a huge leap for the 8 bit consoles, with limited gameplay. Sure the SNES came out later and eventually surpassed the Genesis in every way, but...

Silliest reasons to get an Xbox One

I use to be a Sega nut huger back in the 1990s, So I know where this kid is coming from. I had fun with the system and it made me feel different from my friends who all had Nintendo. If Sega was releasing it, I was buying it. I had a master system, genesis, sega cd, saturn, and then finally a...

    Atari Jaguar and Lynx Systems

I really want to know who here actually bought these systems back in the mid 90s? They had so much commercial promise, but never lived up to the hype or take on reputable names as Nintendo and Sega. Those two names were the major guns in the 90s. Atari had no third party support, and...

Received the PlayStation 4 for Christmas.

Wow lucky you. I'm too old to get those kinds of gifts from anyone these days. People say I'm too old to play video games. Maybe next christmas season it will drop another $100 dollars and the next batch of nex gen games will be released then I might buy one. I'll weigh out the final price...

    Older Console Glitches

Have any of you experienced system glitches on classic consoles. Oh man, back in the day I remember my Sega Master System and Genesis use to freeze up on me from time to time. The messed up part it would be on a new hard to reach level. So of course my heart is pumping and I'm all excited...

    Favorite Atari 2600 Game

My favorite Atari 2600 game was California Games. Sure it wasn't as good as the NES version at the time but it was the best game for the Atari at the time. The game was released a year before the last game was made for the system. So I can imagine this was one of the games that pushed the...

    How many hours gaming?

I don't count how many hours I've lost from playing video games. But I can imagine I have lost at least ayear or two on video games. Seriously. I've been playing games since I was the Atari 2600. That was over 30 years ago, so you can imagine how many hours I have been playing.

Who is your favorite viedo game character of all time and why?

Hmmm. I don't usually follow them because I know they aren't real. But throughout the years one character is still stuck in my mind. It's Sonic the Hedehog. He's been here for decades like Mario.

    NBA 2k15 for ps3

I actually owned the original NBA2K for the Sega Dreamcast. 15 years later the graphics and gameplay have been upgraded by leaps and bounds. But there is a familiaraity about every new 2k game. So if ypu played any of the earlier versions, you should be able to get into this one.

    Favorite Bond game?

Goldeneye was the game that kicked of this co op shooters for my friends and I. The levels were great and the unlockable were fun and increased the longevity of the game. The split screen worked well when 4 players went at it. Great game.

What was the first console game you really enjoyed?

Those games that you mentioned are light years from the type of games that I use to play growing up. Load Runner for the Commodore 64 was the game that started it off for me. There was some level of strategy involved not seen on current consoles of the time like the atari 2600.

    Knock off games

I thought every puzzle game that came after tetris was a knock off. Tetris was at the time the most played game on the planet because it came packed with the gameboy. I played almost every puzzle game that followed but they can't compare to the original. It didn't matter what the limitations...

    Favorite Sega Game

There's a bunch of them out there that stood out. R-Type, Robocop Vs Teminator, Kensiden, Golden Axe, Rhastan, and Phantasy Star. There's a bunch more, but this was awhile ago.

    Super NES "Primal Rage"

I remember first walking into the arcade and there were several Primal Rage games out and they were bombarded with gamers trying to to get a glimpse of the game. Sure it made it to the consoles of the time, but I felt it was short on the graphics because of the technological limitations of the...
