    Favorite Villain?

A huge shout out to Kefka! Oh man, he was just so comically evil and unsettling. Not to mention that he actually succeeded in destroying the world.

What Genre of Game Do You Like Better?

RPGs and open-world type games. Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment through character progression and world exploration. It's a great game where I can play it from the beginning multiple times and still find new things to see and do!

Do you think there should be more crackdowns on 'Unfinished Games?'

Yes, for sure! I don't think the public is asking for too much when they demand a completed, finished product. Unfinished games and years-long betas just seem like a quick money-grabbing strategy nowadays.

    Browser-Based Games

Browser-based games are awesome for a quick time killer. Sometimes you just don't feel like committing yourself to an hours-long gaming session. Newgrounds flash games were my options for a quick-fix. Must have spent years on that site.

What makes a video game great and why?

Gameplay and replayability are the two biggest factors for me. I want to feel a sense of accomplishment completing game goals and I also want some good mileage out of my games. Call me spoiled, but I prefer games where I wring out hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of fun! Graphics don't...

Do you miss the annoying music?

I remember collecting MIDI files, especially from the original Final Fantasy. Back then, they were musical masterpieces to me! They definitely are just slightly outdated now, but listening to some of them would be a nice nostalgic treat. :)

What was the first game you ever played?

My first game would have to be Duck Hunt on the NES. As a little kid, it absolutely blew my mind away! A gun, which you could shoot at the screen, and it would do something! It was like your imagination come true! Ahhh, good times. :)

What's Your Opinion on Games Where You Farm Materials/Stuff?

These types of games are a guilty pleasure of mine! They usually involve minimal effort and brain power, yet they do give you a sense of accomplishment once you hit the next goal. I just love games where you slowly build up resources. They may not require a lot of thinking, but there are...

Your top PC games of all time?

Oh wow, so many games mentioned on here are giving me blasts of nostalgia. I must have spent thousands of hours doing item runs in Diablo 2 and LOD! In terms of the top PC game of all time, I'd have to say Skyrim. It's a damn hell buggy game and definitely not the best on its own, but the...

Do you think games are worth their current retail price?

It's odd. A decade ago I remember happily paying $60-70 for brand new games. Nowadays I think the price of games is incredibly high even though they're the same price! I think I've been spoiled by Steam sales and the advent of more indie games. Why buy a $60-70 game when I could buy a game for a...

    What is your current phone?

I'm currently sporting an iPhone 4S. It's pretty outdated compared to what's out there, but after a year or so it still works like a charm! I'm due to switch in the near future but there's just so many choices out there right now. Maybe I'll go for a new iPhone or Samsung Galaxy.

What are you guys listening to right now?

I'm listening to some Final Fantasy music on YouTube. With video game music, there is a song for almost every mood without the distraction of vocals. And with the hundreds of thousands of remixes and covers out there, the choices are huge!

Any other interests aside from gaming?

Reading is definitely my default hobby. Just like games, it's a way to be transported into different worlds! Also there's nothing as comforting as curling up with a good book while sipping on a hot drink. All this talk of mining bitcoins and crypto currencies in this thread has me curious...

    New Year's Resolution

Happy New Years, everyone! I have the typical resolutions every year: eat healthier, exercise more, start some productive hobbies. Unfortunately, those usually fall to the wayside after a few months. This year I've resolved to contact old friends that have drifted apart over time. Doesn't take...

    Do You Like/Love To Read?

I love to read! If I could spend an entire day at a coffee shop reading a good book, I'd jump at the chance. For those who feel like they don't have time to read, I highly recommend audio books. I know it just isn't the same without a book in your hands, but it really lets you multi-task! I can...

If all electronic games were unusuable tomorrow, what games will you play?

I'd have to hunt down a few of my friends and have a Settlers of Catan marathon. There's nothing like hours of haggling and pissing off friends! I also second playing some Dungeons and Dragons. With a good group of people who are really into it, the days fly right by!

    How many hours gaming?

I used to play 3-4 hours a day when I was a university student! Now that I'm working, I probably only play for an hour a day. It's not that I don't have free time, I just rarely have a block of 4 hours without chores to do. And if I can't play straight for hours, I don't feel like playing any...

    Games You Are Bad At

I thought I was a pretty experienced gamer until I tried the original Dark Souls game! I think I died at least 10 times within the first 15-20 minutes of the game. I had to give up after a few hours as it felt like every enemy encounter was a boss fight. Heck, I'm not sure if I ever encountered...

    Do you use emulators?

Now that Super Nintendo systems are considered rare antiques, I have to rely on emulators to get my nostalgia fix. There's really no other way to play the original versions of Final Fantasy IV, V, VI, and Chrono Trigger! It took a long while to get used to the controls using an emulator, but...

    Most Favorite Open-World Game?

Anything to do with Elder Scrolls or Fallout universes is a must, purely because of the modding community! Bethesda puts out some really awesome open-world games but the fan base really steps it up in creating new content. I think I've spent thousands of hours of game time on those two...
