My strategy when playing the Sims is pretty much always the same. First, enter the cheat code for money. Second, build a huge house with all of the amenities. Three, fill it with women... lol. It's definitely not the most elegant setup, but it's fun. ;)

I was considering picking a sports game also (NHL for me), but the only "issue" is that you can't play online which is what makes these types of games so re-playable. That being said, they usually have so many modes offline that you'd be set for hundreds of hours I'm sure.

@guruproto I think you hit the nail right on the head with Skyrim, and that's my pick for sure. I've never modded myself outside of a few custom skins in Star Wars: Jedi Academy. I actually loved downloading user-made levels for that game, it really stretched out my enjoyment of it for sure.
