Has music changed very much with PC games

I once was able to play a racing game that didn't even have music, and considering that nowadays it's a norm to have licensed music, I think, is a very big leap, considering that it mostly means just even more credibility for the industry.

Are you giving/getting any new games or DLC etc. for Christmas?

I'm going to be getting my nephew either Watch Dogs or Far Cry for PS3 which I'm going to pay full price for and I never do that so I hope that he appreciates it. I'll just play it with him so I get to enjoy it as well so I guess it will be worth it, since I'm fairly curious about Watch Dogs...

PC-Ports - Should we demand better?

I think it is fair to demand it since you are a paying customer. I think it's somewhat understandable that the ports are glitchy since a sitcom is probably a lot more complicated than we think, but that doesn't mean it has to be acceptable. If they keep churning out subpar products then you...

What's Your Opinion on Games Where You Farm Materials/Stuff?

I think it's okay as long as the developers know what they are doing. It's best if farming doesn't take that long before you are allowed to really have fun with the game. After a while it does get tedious though so it really is best if they add some other mechanics to farming that wouldn't make...

    Making Your Own Game

I've made a few when I was finishing exercises at university since it was part of the course I took. It was fun and fulfilling to see the game in its final form. The only real obstacles are coding and organization because you have to make sure all your files are well categorized and labelled.

Do you like single player or multi player content better?

I like both. Sometimes I'm in the mood to just play solo and not have too much pressure or responsibility in playing as a team or playing against someone else. Other times I like playing multiplayer because it allows for much more variety with the same mechanics, since you'll essentially be...

Is There Money in Creating Games?

The video game industry is as big and profitable as ever and I've heard it even now equals or even has surpassed the movie industry in profits. I think it should be alright to chase this dream as long as he sees it realistically. There are a lot of schools now focused on video game development...

    Do you play Minecraft?

I sometimes play it with my nephew but I honestly don't enjoy it that much. I don't think there is anything wrong with the game, but I just may have too specific of a taste when it comes to video games. I also have never taken interest in many other popular titles from the past era.

getting a console for the holidays?

I'm probably going to wait until next Christmas to get the new consoles because by then I'm betting there will be a lot more games to look forward to. For now I'm just getting games for my old console and I'm also trying to finish a lot of the games in my backlog as well. Christmas is probably...

Which Console Do You Think Is Better?

I'm more in favor of the PS4 because I think it's more well made just by seeing how it is built even on the inside but I'm guessing the differences between the two aren't really that much apart from a slight difference in price and also possible exclusives. I'd say it's probably best to just...

    Games you never finished?

I've never finished the first Sonic game. I really enjoyed that game but since there aren't any save states for the Sega. Genesis I had to start right from the beginning each attempt at finishing the game and after a while I just got bored with it, and I never realized that I've never seen the...

Do you think about you the games you play

I experience something similar whenever I play GTA for too long. I start to imagine everyday life as being GTA or at least I just fantasize how it would be like. At times when I'm just walking in the streets or I'm stuck in traffic I wonder what it would be like to just steal a random car or...

    Occulus Rift

Yeah I think it would take a decade more before this technology is fully realized. For now we might only see it as a gaming controller but who knows what better uses we could discover in the future. Also of course it would be great that by then the head gear probably won't be as massive.

    Alternative Controllers

I'm with you on this. I think moving your neck is a bit too much effort for just playing a video game, but understandably so since this is only the beginning of this technology so I bet it will eventually evolve into something else, hopefully to what you've alluded to which is being beamed into...

If you could make a game, what would it be like?

Mine would be a hack and slash with tons of combos and upgrades like Devil May Cry or God of War. I love just laying back and hacking through hordes of enemies whenever I am in a leisurely mood. I like the simplicity of it as some others are just a bit too complex and intense but they are good...

One Game You're Most Addicted To?

Wow and I already found the first one to be intimidating, but I'm sure I'll be able to pick it up once I start playing. I gather from what you're saying that this new one is much easier to handle? I've seen glimpses of it and I can't help but feel I still like the look of the first one though.

Oldies Unite! Break out the Pong

Wow I learn something new everyday. I never even realized that the Apple inventor was behind this massively addictive and classic game. Its kept me busy a lot especially back when there still weren't as many options in entertainment. I didn't know I had the Woz to thank for that.

    Anyone else watch streams?

I've been watching some of these recently as well and I agree they can be very exciting. I also love seeing comebacks happen because it makes for a lot more hype whenever a team is already very down and yet somewhat still manages to win at the end.

    Games You Are Bad At

Same here. I always twitch or do something wrong to give away my position because my initial reaction is always to just burst out and fire guns or punch. I've had some success with games like Assassins creed but I honestly prefer the faster paced games like Devil May Cry.

One Game You're Most Addicted To?

I've played the first Dota once or twice and I kind of understood the rush but not to the extent of some of my friends, but recently I've been getting into a simpler MOBA that's made for tablets which is a bit more small scale and up to my pace and it's made me understand the love for this genre...
