Will arcade games make a comeback?

I think the rise in consoles, handheld and mobile games has made it difficult to arcade games to coexist. While places such as Dave & Busters exist as well as dedicated arcades at certain boardwalks, arcade games are getting harder and harder to find and usually only found in bars, pool halls...

Do you think games are worth their current retail price?

One of the advantages of buying physical games is that you have the option of buying used games which can considerably lower the cost. In addition, you are also able to sell the game on if you didn't particularly enjoy it or if you feel as though you will not play it again.

    Music-themed games over?

After digging around it also appears that a new version of Guitar Hero is also scheduled for release at some point this year in next gen consoles so maybe we are on the cusp of a second wave of instrument based games and a rise again in their popularity. DJ Hero was my own personal favorite of...

    Music-themed games over?

I think the market became quickly oversaturated with the releases of Guitar Hero, Rock band, Rocksmith and DJ Hero in a relatively short period of time. The Just Dance game do till sell well but I think you are right that instrument based games in general have waned in popularity. I did read...

    Older systems?

That is a really great way of extending the life of both last gen and new gen consoles. The older systems still get use and it saves the newer gen consoles from being damaged. I am sure most younger kids don't care about graphics on older systems anyway.

What makes a video game great and why?

I agree. For me personally, as long as the gameplay is good and the gameis not littered with bugs, I can overlook the graphics.

    Games You Are Bad At

I think you make a great point abt fitting games. There is a real steep learning curve which can make it difficult for noobies as they just don't stand a chance against vets which often times can make it both frustrating and also not a lot of fun.

Do you like single player or multi player content better?

I also prefer playing Fifa online as opposed to offline. It just feels more competitive and it is great to play against your friends too which adds another layer off fun to the game.

Speaking of the Batman Arkham series, I just saw the latest screenshots for Arkham Knights and they look mighty slick. I am really looking forward to June 2. Hopefully there won't be any more delays.

Do you think there should be more crackdowns on 'Unfinished Games?'

Excellently said. I couldn't have said it better myself. We, as consumers, can influence what revelers are releasing, simply by not buying the games. If enough people stop buying half finished or bug games, the developers would have to take action. As is, if we continue to buy these games, they...

Do you think games are worth their current retail price?

That is true. Consumers can always voice their opinion with their wallet. If enough people feel that games are becoming too expensive for what enjoyment they receive out of them, they will stop spending $60 a game. I am not sure this will happen, though.

    First PS1 game?

Did you like In Your House? I actually found is to be one of my least favorite WWF/E games. By contrast, I thought WWE Attitude on the PS1 to be one of the most underrated WWF/E games.

    Favorite gaming merchandise

I have always had a penchant for any Mario merchandise, especially figures. I have a closet filled with various figures still in their original packging unopened packaging. I also have a number of store display signs and posters.

Do you think games are worth their current retail price?

This is pretty much how I feel also. They take big risks by investing serious money into the games and so they should be rewarded by making a good living. Movie tickets have increased in price over the last decade, same thing for show tickets and tickets to sporting events while video game...

If all electronic games were unusuable tomorrow, what games will you play?

The dog was always the most hotly contested piece whenever we would play which is why I had to have a backup favorite - the boot - a piece that almost no one else wanted. A boot doesn't exactly scream cute or fun!
