Everyone has a game they like. Some people even go as far as to review the games they like. While some, well, they like to review the games they loathe. My favorite reviewer for games is John-Tron for his voice. His voice alone makes me happy. As a bonus, I get to hear about games I like or didn't like that he reviews. It's a win/win.

Me. I don't listen to anyone's opinions on video games except my own.

Kotaku is my favorite. I've never seen the appeal of youtube reviewers like totalbiscuit.

Best game reviewer I know of, is me! Ta-da!

As for second reviewers, I usually go with gamefaqs, IGN, and whatever persons on the internet and their opinions about game. Not that it will stir me much listening or reading external reviews from any entity, it will help be in distinguishing the finer points I may be thinking when I'm deciding upon two or more similar games I wish to purchase or try out.

I love Classic Game Reviews and it really is a shame that they were pushed off YouTube because watching on their own site is just not the same. I love it because it's just so relaxing and I admit that at first I was a bit apprehensive with the speaking style the guy was using but the later episodes were much more toned down thankfully.

I like to get my video game reviews on sites kotaku and other blogs. I also look for reviews on youtube. I like to watch machinima videos as well and sometimes I just go out and get the game and give it my own review according to how I feel about the game.

I usually wait for one of my friends to buy the latest releases. I usually get a text telling me how killer this new game is. In a few days even hours, he would be at my door step with the game in hand.
So my friends are the perfect reviewer.

I don't know that I have a favorite, but I have a list of people that I avoid.

Polygon took 750,000 dollars from Microsoft to "promote" the XBONE and has since reviewed all of their games, on average, higher than other consoles.

Kotaku is more interested in click bait than doing anything that resembles real work, that instantly makes me question any slant they might have on any game.

I used to have a bunch of podcasts that I would listen to and grab their opinions, but they don't seem to be aware of the concept of "conflict of interest" so I can't really believe anything they say either.

I am kind of interested about how I am going to find new games going forward.
