The current (and fading, unfortunately) fad of "Low Carb" everything. Not because I'm on a diet, but because for those of us with diabetes the last two or three years have seen a HUGE rise in the ammount of low-sugar foods that I can now eat, and the price has dropped quite a bit. It still costs 3 times as much for a tiny package of sugar-free lemon cookies for example than a HUGE package of cheap sugary ones, but that's down form like 5 times the price before. I love pudding, cookies, cake and everything sweet, but I'm in no rush to have my feet sawed off (even though "sport wheelchairs" are kind of cool... and you get the best parking spot in every lot).. So low carb officially "rocks".
