Tis the season as my local Target had a smoking deal on Kid Icarus Uprising for 3DS – $5.06. No, that is not a typo. Five dollars and six cents. I found a similar deal just like this with Kingdom Hearts DreamDrop Distance.
After shifting through a usual pile of unwanted bad clearance games, I came across four copies of Pit’s latest adventure. It is worth pointing out that Uprising come in a larger than usual box and ships with a plastic holding stand, the only 3DS game that comes with this extra accessory. At first glance it might seem like a worthless piece of plastic, and it mostly is, but if you try playing Uprising without it you will break your hand and/or have carpal tunnel.
Originally, Kid Icarus Uprising retailed for the full $40 price point and has slow dipped to the $20 price range. But snagging these 4 copies at $5.06 is a great deal (plus an extra 5% off savings using my Red Card) even though the game isn’t the A+ game fans were hoping for. It pays to look for deals especially this time of year.
