Konami of Europe announced this morning the development of [i]Castlelvania: Curse of Darkness[/i]. Focusing on going in a new direction, [i]Curse of Darkness[/i] will also feature an entirely new storyline and main character, straying away from the Belmont clan. This time around you’ll be in control of Hector, a devil forgemaster who once trained under Dracula.
“Castlevania: Curse of Darkness takes the series in a fresh new direction ? complete with new heroes and villains,” says Hans-Joachim Amann, Head of Product Management of Konami of Europe. “The conflict between Hector and Isaac will allow players to explore Dracula’s inner sanctum from a different perspective and provide fans of the Castlevania series plenty of new gameplay experiences to enjoy.”
[i]Castlevania: Curse of Darkness[/i] arrives in Europe later this year. There hasn’t been announcement about an American release date yet, but when it does MyGamer will be there to update you.
