Konami announced in Tokyo today that Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake will be ported to Japanese cell phones this October. The sequel of the rare1990 game that was never released in America was exclusive to the MSX 2 personal computer system and was quite hard to find. Last month, Konami released a port of the original Metal Gear to cell phones as well.
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake follows Snake’s adventures in Zanzibar Land. As with last month’s port, series director Hideo Kojima will be supervising the new version, and will be playable on the FOMA900i, EZweb, and Vodafones series of phones. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake will be available for download in Japan on October 1.
