Leo the Firefighter Cat is an adorable semi-open world firefighting simulator. It is a 3rd person shooter only the player uses a firehose and an ax, as a cat, to put out fires. Think Paw Patrol but with cats, more fire, and even vehicles.
Unfortunately, this game is unplayable because there is no option to invert the camera, an option that should be mandatory for any game released within the last 20 years. Since this game is literally unplayable to me, I have to give it a low score. Not having the option to invert the camera, especially for a 3rd person shooter in 2024, is simply unacceptable. This game is stupidly charming. The colorful visuals and adorable cast have clearly been designed with care. So why no option to invert the stupid camera? Boggles the mind.
I think I would have enjoyed this game if I was able to control it. Shooting humanoid flames with a regenerating water hose, rescuing trapped kitties, and driving Paw Patrol-like vehicles around an open-ish world seems like it would be pretty fun. Oh well, maybe there will be a patch one day to install this basic feature.

A 3rd person freakin’ adorable shooter that is literally unplayable because the devs didn’t include a camera adjustment option. Such a disappointing waste of what could be a decent game.
