Microsoft and MTV partnered up several weeks ago to host the worldwide public unveiling of the next-generation Xbox. This partnership was formed to get the word out about the hotly anticipated Xbox 360.
Getting the Xbox 360 before the eyes of the mainstream via one of the biggest international TV stations is obviously not a bad choice when it comes to propaganda. Though somewhat surprising, Microsoft have chosen not to wait for the E3 expo to showcase their new system, instead broadcasting the event on May 12th, 2005, through the MTV network.
The event is hoping to grab the attention of the gaming world
