Electronic Arts announced earlier today that Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault Director’s Edition has been shipped out to stores across the country. With new bonus content, interactive applications, and exclusive weapons, fans of the series have plenty of new things to keep them busy while they play.
“The Medal of Honor Pacific Assault Director’s Edition was a labor of love for the development team who created it,” according to Rick Giolito, executive producer. “Many of us have relatives who served during WWII, while others have spent countless hours interviewing veterans about their Pacific Theater experiences while conducting research for the game.
Because of these personal relationships, the entire design team felt a responsibility to drive home the significance of WWII in our collective world history,” explained Giolito. “With the Medal of Honor Pacific Assault Director’s Edition, we have the rare opportunity to present that commitment to keeping history alive, both with the actual game experience and in the educational content that accompanies the game.”
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is rated T for teen and will retail for $59.99
