A Super Smash Bros. update went live today for both the WiiU and 3DS versions. This update includes some free content and the ability to pay for some additional content so it is worth updating even if you do not want to pay for anything.
The biggest highlight is the new Super Mario Maker stage which is available as paid DLC. There is also an updated version of the Zelda: Wind Waker stage that debuted in Smash Bros Brawl (Wii) now available as paid DLC on WIiU. Nintendo has also added the Duck Hunt stage that was featured in the WiiU version to the 3DS version for free. There are also many new Mii costumes from the Monster Hunter series and Kid Icarus.
Here is a breakdown of everything:
– Super Mario Maker stage = $2.49 for one version or $3.49 for both versions
– The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker stage – $1.99 for WiiU only
– Mii Costumes $0.75 for one version or $1.15 for both
– All Mii Costume bundle $5.25 for one version or $8.05 for both
– All new content bundle $7.74 for 3DS, $12.61 on WiiU, and $13.53 for both versions
