Electronic Arts announced earlier this morning that [i]Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath[/i] has officially been shipped out to stores. The latest chapter in the acclaimed Oddworld series, [i]Wrath[/i] looks to go in a new direction by combining aspects of first and third person gameplay with traditional Oddworld humor and storytelling.
In the game, players will assume control of the Stranger, a mysterious bounty hunter who tracks down outlaws for money. Featuring a new innovative weapons system, “live” ammo aims to have a whole new meaning as creatures from the environments can be used as ammunition. Throw in a massive universe, hostile challenges, and devious new opponents and fans will find an experience that the [i]Oddworld[/i] series is known to bring.
[i]Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath[/i] is rated T for teen and retails at $49.99 for the Xbox.
