Blizzard today announced that the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, will be headlining the closing concert at this year’s Blizzcon. Tickets to the show sold out almost immediately after the box office opened but the show will be televised through pay-per-view available via Internet stream and in HD on DIRECTV.
Blizzcon is the annual convention celebrating Blizzard Entertainment games such as Starcraft, Diablo and World of Warcraft. The concert itself marks the second collaboration between Osbourne and Blizzard Entertainment, the first being the TV ads for the WoW expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. The concert is being described as Ozzy’s chance to put the Lich King in his place and reclaim his throne as the Prince of Darkness. The convention is August 21-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
