Popular Bar Game Now on DS

You know that bar game that everyone plays after they had too many drinks; the game where you have to determine what is difference between two pictures?  Although this game becomes more entertaining with the more you drink, Storm City is giving DS owners a chance to play this type of game while sober.  Full press release below:

Storm City Entertainment announced the Holiday release of “Foto Frenzy: Spot the Difference,” a modern variation of the classic spot-the-difference photo game.  The game, developed by Sanuk Studios and licensed through Prime Games for play on Nintendo DS™, is shipping now, with a scheduled launch date of November 17, 2009, putting it on Retailer shelves for Black Friday and the 2009 Holiday shopping season.

“With numerous game modes, local wireless connection single-cart, four player capability, and close to 5,000 different game scenarios, this game is a gem,” said Steve Newton, President of Storm City Entertainment.  “It is the consummate ‘pick up and play’ handheld game.”

Players are shown two pictures, an original, and one with subtle changes, and are tasked with finding the differences while battling the clock or opponents.  The game features hundreds of photographs, each with numerous differences to increase replay desirability as players work their way through mounting difficulty levels.  There’s also a puzzle minigame, customized levels, and interactive capabilities that allow players to interfere with opponents gameplay to increase their personal chances of winning.

“This is truly a product with unlimited appeal,” added Susan Kain-Jurgensen, CEO of Storm City.  “We have game tested this in every demographic, from Seniors to tweens, boys, girls, diehard gamers, and casual players.  No matter who the player is, the result is the same.  They love the game.”

Look for “Foto Frenzy: Spot the Difference” at major North American Retailers as well as online Vendors this Holiday season.
