Shaun Alexander has been announced as the cover man for [i]Madden NFL 2007[/i]. Alexander, from the Super Bowl losing Seattle Seahawks said, “To be on the cover of [i]Madden NFL '07[/i] is a big milestone in my career, since I have always been a huge fan of this franchise.” Alexander is having a great 2005- 2006 (minus tanking in the Super Bowl of course) with him setting a new touchdown record of 27 TDs in one season and signing a new eight-year, $62 million contract last month. Rumors are swirling around that since [i]Madden 2007[/i] is featuring a running back, the game will feature a revamped ground game, but no details have been made public.
EA’s [i]Madden NFL 2007[/i] will be released for every console known to man on 8/1.
