A French-based site, LiveWii, has reported that through an interview on Japanese radio, Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s director Masashiro Sakurai commented on various changes to the game’s roster.
Sakurai confirmed the inclusion of Bowser Jr., the cell shaded version of Link, and Ridley, the nemesis of Samus, into the roster of the upcoming Wii title. Along with who’s included, we unfortunately must find out who hasn’t made the cut. These ill-fated souls include The Ice Climbers, Mr. Game and Watch, and Young Link. Who will take their place? We haven’t heard yet, but Sakurai stated that he would like a roster about 40 characters deep with 1 or 2 more non-Nintendo characters. Here’s to waiting together….
