Out of the many games due to land in 2024, The Plucky Squire is somehow the one that intrigues me the most. Developed by independent studio, Devolver Digital, the quirky perspective jumping game looks set to bring a fresh and wholesome approach into the wonderful world of video gaming.

With it’s vibrant cartoony style and adorable characters, The Plucky Squire is the latest title on my constantly growing list of games that I simply can’t wait to play. However, with no release date beyond a very vague “2024”, the wait becomes harder while the exact day of release eludes me.

Now, our plucky pal must navigate through both his familiar home inside the storybook and face the unknown dangers of the real world if he is to rescue his friends.

To give this particular storybook a fairy tale ending, Jot embarks on a magical journey to release his loved ones from the clutches of Mr Humgrump, his evil forces and the many perils of the outside world.

What follows is a captivating story, awash with vibrant color and host to a bevvy of the weird, the wonderful and the unforgettable Traversing between the two realms, Jot meets more and more challenges and weaves a story that will endear audiences both young and old.
