So what the hell is that blue light on the Wii? Sometimes its glowing, sometimes its off, Even at the Nintendo Fusion Tour, no blue light.
A Nintendo rep was recently grilled until they let out this secret: The final version of the Wii will feature the blue light, but it will not remain on during play. Instead, it will light up when the console is started so gamers in dark rooms can insert discs. Apparently there will be a green light on during play.
The rep also didn’t know if there is an option to keep the blue light on all the time. Good news for power savers, bad news for people who like their consoles pretty.
