This week, on the 21st, Ubisoft announced it's plans to release a Far Cry game onto the Wii Next-Gen console at an as yet unspecified point in time. Titled Far Cry: Vengeance the game will allow you to assume the role of Jack Carver, back home at Micronesia in an attempt to get away from the incident at the Jacutan Archipelago. This attempt is less then successful when a beautiful woman tempts him into which goes badly wrong and he is now accused of murder that he didn't do. So, naturally, Jack must defend himself from his new enemies in this hostile jungle environment. The new Wii controller will play a heavy part in this game to be used in driving, shooting, jumping, and other maneuvers. There will be a variety of weapons, such as a machete or a machine gun to be used, along with vehicles like ATV's or hovercrafts that you will be able to drive through the fully interactive environments. You will also be able to use the Feral Pray abilities in game and, also, you will be also be able to challenge your friends online in Chaos mode which features a no holds barred melee that only ends when there is one person left. No official website but there is a release date of November 2006 planned but keep coming back to MyGamer for more information on this new release for the Wii.
