At Game Conference 2006, Nintendo held their “Wii Keep Our Promise” press conference. The conference is best described as a disappointment. What they did announce was two new high-profile first party titles for the Wii, Super Mario Strikers: Charged and Battalion Wars 2, both of which were playable to the show-goers. And our German readers will be pleased to know that they’re getting some of the more popular DS games, such as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Magnetica.
So how is this disappointing? There is still no information on the release date (all they said is that it will be out before year’s end…again) or a price. Also, no new information surfaced regarding the Wii’s more-anticipated games like Smash Bros. Brawl or Super Mario Galaxy.
