Xbox Game Pass Starts Now – Details and Games Here

Several months ago, Microsoft announced Xbox Game Pass, a $9.99 monthly subscription that gives Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners access to a set number of games each month. Microsoft probably came up with this service to compete with Sony’s Playstation Now. The difference, however, is that games are not streamed like PS Now. Instead, users can download each available game and play as if you own it. Once the time is up for those specific games, the player will be able to buy the full game if desired with an exclusive discount.

Starting today, May 24, 2017, Xbox Live Gold members can register for a free 14-day trial period before the service officially kicks off on June 1.

Microsoft has already announced the games that will be initially available: Halo 5: Guardians, NBA 2K16 and Payday 2, LEGO Batman, Banjo-Kazooie and Viva Pinata, Mega Man Legacy Collection, Streets of Rage and Pac-Man Championship Edition,  Bioshock Infinite, Gears of War 1-3, Gears Ultimate, Perfect Dark Zero, Borderlands and more.

At launch, members can also explore classic Xbox hits and community favorites like Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, The Golf Club, Terraria, Resident Evil 0, XCOM: Enemy Within, Mad Max, Knight Squad and many more.

So what do you think? Will you be taking advantage of the free trial and $10 a month monthly service? What games would you like to see become available? Interested in hearing your thoughts.
