So Madden is here again and you know what that means? No! Not more reasons to stay home from work, school or what have you, time for another [i]Madden Challenge[/i] of course! Yes, EA has announced the dates and locations of the 2005 EA SPORTS Madden Challenge, the 4th annual tournament that puts thousands of football gamers to the test with EA?s latest installment of the Madden franchise, this year being [i]Madden NFL 06[/i]. The Tournament begins with Regional play hosted in various U.S. cities and then the individual regional winners will go to Honolulu, Hawaii for the Finals on Feb. 10, 2006 to compete for a grand prize of $100,000.
The [i]Madden Challenge[/i] will be sponsored by Best Buy and Xbox and will play a little differently this year. There will be two divisions this year, Rookie Division, and Professional Division. Rookie Division for the casual Madden player, and the Professional Division for experienced players. The Rookie Division will feature the inaugural Rookie Challenge with a 64-person bracket in each city.
