Electronic Arts has announced that famed DJ Paul Oakenfold is now the music supervisor for the upcoming [i]GoldenEye: Rogue Agent[/i]. Oakenfold is tasked to create original music and the “game’s overarching musical personality with hard-driving, rhythmic beats hand-crafted for ever mission.”
DJ Paul Oakenfold has worked on musical scores for many films such as “Get Carter,” “Swordfish,” “Planet of the Apes,” “The Bourne Identity,” “Austin Power: Goldmember,” “The Matrix Reloaded,” and the theme song for the show Las Vegas on NBC.
Oakenfold is just one of many high profile stars that have agreed to help with the game. Others include Christopher Lee from “The Man with the Golden Gun” and Judi Dench who has played M in the last four Bond films. Not to mention that some of those working behind the scenes have worked on various Hollywood blockbuster movies such as “Shrek,” “The Matrix” trilogy, and the “James Bond” series of course.
[i]GoldenEye: Rogue Agent[/i] is schedule for release this November on the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube.
