First PS1 game?

I can't really put my finger on it because I was a big sega fan at the time. I think a friend of mine loaned me his PS1 and the games I remember the most were, hot shots golf and the original resident evil. I think those were the first games I played on the PS1. The miniature golf section of the game was the best as far as I can remember.

I bought it to Play FF VII, but didn't manage to buy it until about a year after the game was released because... to paraphrase Queen, "I was a poor boy... no body loved me."

My first game was Final Fantasy 7. I was all about the Nintendo 64 until I went to my friends house and played Final Fantasy for the first time. The game itself was revolutionary enough to sway anyone to the system.

My first Play Station 1 game was resident Evil. That game just amazed me, But in all honesty i bought 2 games for my play station one> resident evil and final fantasy. And both of these games were by far my favorite. Way to many things about FF that I could not list them all. and Resident evil I loves the suspense and the jumping out of y seat HAHA. It was a very good first game :)

First thing I played for weeks was a disc with a bunch of demos from a magazine!

The first actual game was Final Fantasy 8, I believe. It is the reason I still play so many RPGs until today. I remember I was stuck on my first playthrough quite a few times, until I finally bought a guide for it. I realized I had to completely restart the game because I messed up a lot of things, most of which were irreversible. Good thing developers don't do stuff like that anymore.

That was a long time ago so I'm not sure but I think like you it was Crash Bandicoot. I remember playing it at my birthday party when I lived in a house. Sadly, I lost that game a long time ago and I don't think I ever beat it.

The demo disc that came with it. Forget all of the games, but one of them was Die Hard 2, and I think another may have been WWF In Your House.

Initially, I played Crash Bandicoot at a friend's house and really enjoyed it due to the novelty. When I got a PS1, the first game I wanted was Crash Bandicoot as it was the only game I was familiar with. It was a fun game that had some intense moments and levels. One of my favorite games on PS1 was Digimon Rumble Arena, as it was a great competitive game that had multiplayer - perfect for having friends over.

Did you like In Your House? I actually found is to be one of my least favorite WWF/E games. By contrast, I thought WWE Attitude on the PS1 to be one of the most underrated WWF/E games.

Oh, playstation 1, that was my favourite console with no doubt. That was the golden age of the role playing games for me with no doubt. But talking about the first game I played of this console, that wasn't a rpg, it was one of fightning, called soul blade (the first of the saga "soul calibur" from namco).

Soviet Strike. I remember playing it in the display model at the local Ames store and thinking how awesome the game was. I talked the electronics manager into selling me the display copy for $15 if I bought a new Playstation with it. I was going to get a Playstation anyway and they were on sale. I cant really say it was the best game I played, it got kind of boring pretty quick after I got home with it.

My first ps1 game was some spongebob game about krabby pattys. The gameplay was okay and it was a side scroller.

Oh gosh, it's been so long since I've played the original PS1, but I believe my first games I played were Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, Monster Rancher 2, and Digimon World 2.

all I remember to this day was the Arena and how much time I spent grinding up to get the only accessory I didn't want, the chicken king (lets you run everytime) and then gambling in a casino. I remember just idling to this music too:

Wipeout. It was a sort of racing game using futuristic (and I use that word loosely) aircraft. I was especially fond of the uncontrollable speed boosts you could get if you flew directly over what I can only describe as a psychedelic treadmill. Those planes were hard enough to control as it was!

And a mention for Sorrowswillcall for Crash Bandicoot. many an hour of my youth wad dedicated to manoeuvring old Crash!

I absolutely love the old spyro trilogy, it's reminiscent of a time where games didn't have to be big and complicated and could just be simple, childish, and fun. Nowadays I occasionally think that the seriousness becomes a tad too much...

What I can remember is playing Crash Bandicoot. I would literally spend hours playing that with my neighbor. I played Spyro as well but I can mostly just remember Crash and the crazy music that played when you was wearing that tiki mask when you was invincible for around 15 seconds
