When Skyrim was first released three years ago I knew immediately that I was going to have fun with the game for a long time. There was tons to do and many places to explore. However, after three years you do start to run out of material and options. This is why I took to modding Skyrim.

Yes, there are mods that make the game more beautiful (and I definitely use as many of those as my gpu can handle) but the best mods, in my opinion, are the quest mods. For example, there is a mod called Falskaar which is an expansion-sized quest mod that adds an entire new area to the game with voiced NPCs, quests, and goals. It's absolutely amazing because everything but the NPC voices were all done by ONE person. All of the landscaping, modeling, quest writing and design, and etc. I highly recommend it.

Anyway, my point is that if you ever run out of things to do in Skyrim, consider downloading some questing mods to your game. BUT the golden rule of modding is that you should start a new save file whenever you introduce or remove any mods to your game.

Oh, lol! The Thomas the Tank Engine dragons are hilarious. I like the macho man Randy Savage dragons as well..although I play a mostly lore-friendly modded game so I don't have much silliness like that in it right now.

A lot of great mods can be found in the Steam workshop so you don't even have to go to third party websites to download them if you don't feel comfortable with that. I can recommend a lot of fun mods if you're interested!

I always loved playing Skyrim, but after some time it got boring to me. I figured out that I should try some mods for the game and after I tried some of them out, I loved it. I would also recommend downloading and installing a mod for Skyrim, it's a lot of fun if you don't have anything else to do in the original game (without the mods).

Exactly! Many people think of mods as "cheats" or ways to make the game unbalanced..but really most of them just introduce new content into the game. It helps keep the game interesting and prevents it from becoming "stale." If you always have something to do and explore then you'll have more fun playing the game!
