Monster Rancher 2 for the PS1

This is one of the first games I got attached to that wasn't a Crash or Spyro game. I liked the idea of being able to use the console as a way to use music and get more monsters that way. I liked a lot of the monsters and was happy to see them again in the later games! However, there's just nothing like Monster Rancher 2. I believe it must be due to the nostalgia. Either way, I'm sure I'm not the only one to have enjoyed this classic Playstation game.

You're definitely not alone. I loved that game. I loved the challenge of raising monsters and training them according to their strengths and weaknesses. I also enjoyed finding those rare monsters and I think part of the fun was how to make those special monsters appear.
