Question of the Day

Mine would have to be Titanic. I get mad at almost every aspect of the movie. That or I laugh, which makes my wife punch me.

oh, and Maverick, that's my favorite Wolverine issue of all time. Kubert rocked that one.

I'm not sure when it was done, but it wasn't old in relation to the series as a whole, probably 95, 96? It focused in entirely upon a Wolverine and Gambit situation, where Arcade ended up setting up Wolverine and Gambit against eachother on opposite ends of a recent crime wave, with Gambit ending up teaming up with the cops and picking up a harem of desperate ladies, and Wolverine seeming like he pulled a Jack the Ripper. Eventually, Wolvie leaves for Japan, and finds his old girlfriend (not Deathstrike), and they fall back in love, and Gambit tracks him down, they fight, and Gambit ends up getting killed. Alot.

Did you read the awesome Wolverine and Gambit miniseries, Jonas or Mav?

Yup, it was pretty cool. The art work was great. I still have every comic I ever bought so it would take me a while to find it. The two comics I want the most (besides Superman's first appearnce & X-Men #1 of course) are The Hulk #180 & 181. My fav comic would have to be when Magneto sucked out Wolverine's adamantium, just plain amazing.

Yeah, the whole Fatal Attractions story was really great. But I loved the Onslaught saga. He has to be one of the coolest badguys in Marvel.

While I am a comic fan, I am not a big follower of comics. I always thought that the above would be the only way to kill Wolverine.

I can't follow comics anymore. I don't know about you, but they just become too costly. And getting back issues will leave you flat broke.

I'm really showing my nerdness here, but Wolvie has come close to death many times. You know, like when he goes up against someone like Cyber, Omega Red, & Magneto. In one of the earlier Wolverine comics (I think it was a flashback to the Weapon X days) the Maverick character had to give him a shot of something (adrenaline perhaps) to keep him alive, so he has come close to death more than some realize.

True, but as far as cool bad guys go I'll take Apocalypse. The alternate universe X-Men was sweet.

Another awful movie was The Ring 2. Total disappointment.

Yeah, the Age of Apocalypse was nothing short of super-duper awesome. Especially in how badass the AoA Bishop is.

Marvel always did a great job with their miniseries. Like the Phalanx Covenant, the Onslaught Saga, the Age of Apocalypse, Fatal Attractions, Maximum Carnage, were all just awesome classics.

And Wolvie really has a prety big, and cool, cast of enemies that specifically target him. I was never too big on Cyber or Sabertooth, though. His Weapon X days are pretty cool, excluding back when he was on that stupid Canadian super team. I mean cmon, nobody from Canada is cool.

I think my favorite is the Maximum Clonage storyline in Spider-Man. Actually, the story is crap but the name is so very, very amusing. I don't have a specific favorite comic, but right now I'm enjoying the Jason Todd story line in Batman.

The Age of Apocalypse storyline really was one of my favorite series. It actually started at the end of that particular Wolverine that Maverick and I spoke about. When the AoA series was over, Sabertooth was in a coma from the damage Wolverine's claws did when he inserted them from under his jaw. (I'm such a geek)

You're right about the AoA Bishop. He rocked. My favorite surprise was when Wolvie popped the claws from the stub of his left arm (he was missing his hand).

Question of the Day:

Where the hell is BC and why hasn't he posted more about the MG Sims house?

He probably saw no point as I had murdered everyone and fed them through the garbage disposal cuz he made me a criminal.

Spuds, we all know the "BC made me do it" excuse only works for certain occasions. Feeding people through the garbage disposal isn't one of them.

Garbage disposal? Have I taught you nothing? You use wood chippers to dispose of bodies, not garbage disposals.
