Question of the Day

I had a Slimer from Ghost Busters. But yeah...I slept on a pile of Ninja Turtles. That made me angry and more than willing to fight ninjas...

hmmm, I'm going to answer this one honestly! Teddy Ruxpin I think is what the cartoon was called, anyways I remember it was a talking brown bear with a tan sleaveless shirt or something! I don't really remember it but my mother has a crapload of pictures!

well, i can agree with Roach about the GI Joes and of course, with Spuds about the Ninja Turtles........But my personal favorite would have been sleeping on a bed full of MASK figures and vehicles....heh

Chip from Chip and Dale.
That one GI Joe I had (with a button that made him uppercut lol), the Spiderman with 6 arms, and the Batman was for when I woke up.

M-M-M-MASK is the mighty power that can save the day.

Ok, I will admit, I had to look up the rest of the line. I have heard the song recently as one of my friends got a DVD with a handful of episodes and we watched it late one night after an evening of drinking. I think it is still in my apartment. The DVD, not my friend.

Anyway, the main hook of MASK was that the good guys and bad guys all piloted vehicles that could turn into another vehicle. The car's doors folded up and became wings. A motorcycle, my favorite as I recall, turned into a helicopter. The bad guy's helicopter turned into...a plane. Yeah, that didn't make much sense. The good guy's home base was called Boulder Mountain or something like that. I always wanted that when I was a kid but alas.

Question of the Day:

What's your favorite board game?

Mine is Monoploy because when I was six my mother refused to play with me until I'm forty. There is something about wanting what you can't have.

I'm gonna go with Wheel of Fortune and Mouse Trap........sorry, couldn't decide between one or the other.......and yes, i say that same thing to my wife about Monopoly as your mom does to you K.......Sometimes i think my wife slips Monopoly money in her bankroll when nobody is looking...:banghead:

Mouse Trap...damn, that game was classic. It took more time to set the damn game up then it did to play. Hell, I don't think I've ever even played the game. My sister and I would just set up everything and then spring the trap over and over.

I found all board games pretty boring, so I created my own when I was a kid. Granted, they probably didn't have the mass appeal that a Monopoly or Scrabble had, but it a good distraction for me, some of my friends, and my sister.

Marvel had this bright idea to spice up ol' petey's family history. Guy shows up claiming to be the "real" peter parker/spiderman and had memories and so on. They wanted to make it to where the one we knew was a clone the whole time and this new guy with a new look was the real deal. Fans hated it and they made it all one big ruse and the new guy proved to be the clone, but not really an evil one. Just someone who was manipulated by a bigger baddy.

The storyline went on for a long time with Marvel trying to undo their continuity screw ups

Checkers, to this day nobody can F**K with checkers!

and I get to outgeek jonas today, you see jonas is talking about ben rielly/scarlet spider/clone spiderman! The Doppelganger was this alien from one of the Infinite crossovers, I think it was crusade, where all the marvel heroes faught evil versions of themselves. Anyways it sucked, Infinite Guantlet kicks ass, but that's another story! For some reason he stuck around, was part of the Maximum Carnage storyarc, and if Im not mistaken was killed by carnage himself!
