I want to know which game from the Grand Theft Auto series you like the most. I really enjoy playing GTA San Andreas and Vice City. In my opinion San Andreas is the best in the series. I have been playing it for about 8 years now and it never gets old or boring.

It really is hard to choose just one favorite as in my opinion all of the games are worthy contenders to be chosen as my particular favorite. My top three would include San Andreas, Vice City and GTA IV. If pressed and I could only choose one I would go with San Andreas. One thing I can say for certainty is that San Andreas has my favorite radio stations.

My favorite is still LCS because it's the first one I played and I already have lots of favorite personal spots and activities that I like to do there. All the succeeding ones have been alright for me and definitely still very impressive and entertaining but all my favorite mini games were there.

I would have to agree with you on that. San Andreas and Vice City to me, are the best GTA games so far, I also enjoyed Liberty city for the PSP back in the day. But that was more for the multiplayer in school haha

My favorite game would be GTA: Vice City. I like the setting of the game very much. I could remember the movie Scarface in the game and when I watched it I dreamt of becoming like Scarface being first a goon and a man doing the dirty work to becoming a drug tycoon. So I really got addicted to playing GTA: Vice City because of this. I like the missions and the creative ways you can accomplish them. Being able to buy different properties to make money also was like monopolizing the city which I really like. The vehicles were also old-school style, not to mention the great soundtrack from the radio when listening to it inside the cars. The side missions were also a plus. One thing I didn’t like about it was that the character couldn’t swim and would die right away when plunging into water. But overall it gave me good memories growing up playing the game.

I still havent finished playing V yet, I keep getting drawn to GTA Online. I love GTA Online but wish that the different missions tied together a bit better and there was more of a story to it. I kind of thought there was going to be after the introduction that you go through after creating a character.

I've probably spent the most time playing GTA IV but I really enjoyed the San Andreas world more than the fourth games. I don't really have a favorite game in the series. I play each of them for quite a long time and feel like I have gotten the most out of them that I could. Each one is slightly better than the previous, but that doesn't mean that I've enjoyed it more.

I enjoyed playing grand theft auto San Andres as, you play a guy who came back and find out your friends are against you and crew. I thought it was great that you could eat different foods and train at the gym, and do swimming which was cool and the three islands looked nice to explore. It had a amazing story and also, real like one and it was good to do different missions and enjoy them.

GTA IV would be my favorite! I've yet to play GTA V but based on the reviews for the console version I feel that it will be my favorite series on the PC soon :) There's plenty to do in the game and the open world rivals that of Skyrim in my humble opinion.

My top would have to be GTA 5, I love how big the area is, and I love he idea of playing multiple people and seeing their stories and their missions! The gameplay is very good, and the graphics are amazing! Grand Theft Auto 5 would have to be the one I've played through the most missions on it. Secondly, would have to be GTA: San Andreas, I loved the map on that one, and for me was the mos fun besides the 5th GTA

The best GTA game in my opinion is still San Andreas, no doubt about it. Although CJ was not the best character from the series (second behind Trevor), I enjoyed the dynamics involved in being able to mold CJ to be fat, skinny, or muscular and have three (four if you count the default) different types of fighting styles - all of this is lacking in other GTA games. More over, San Andreas introduced car modifications, jet-pack, gambling, truck-rigging, monster truck, animals, bicycles, turf wars, foods and drinks, and innovation. I still play the game from time to time.

My favourite GTA is GTA San Andreas, I really loved the missions, the cars and the enviorment of that series.
I also really Vice City and GTA V is also great in my opinion (luckily got the opportunity to play it at my friend's house, lol. )

Vice City is hands down the most revolutionary and best installment of the series. The clever references, the awesome music, clothing, cars; It is all perfect! I'm a little biased towards stuff from the 80's, but even then I feel like GTA:VC is the best game of the series. Can't wait for a new game on Vice City, since they skipped it with GTA V and went straight to San Andreas again...

I respect and honor San Andreas it was a large and hip game for its time. I always thought that CJ was well balanced character who had a troubling issue had to deal with the passing of his mother. I felt that his friends were shady and had no remorse for their actions like Big Smoke and Ryder. I loved the casino in Las Venturas later on in the game. Flight school was a pain, but it was doable. The missions were fun and never really bore me and the characters were entertaining.

Same here. I loved almost everything about GTA Vice City and like you the only complaint I really had was that you died whenever you went into water. It wasn't enough of an annoyance to make me love the game any less though. I just considered it to be one of the challenges of the game.

I love Vice City too. I don't know why. The map is small and you don't get the options that you see later in the series like working out or get to ride harriers, etc. The radio stations are probably the best in the entire franchise. I also like the protagonist. He seems relatable.

I agree with Vice City & I think you mentioning the radio actually has a lot to do with it. Makes it a lot easier to get lost in the game with great stations to browse through in your stolen vehicles. :D

For the gameplay, story and overall fun I have had with it, GTA V.

For the fantastic memories I have made with it, GTA Vice City. God only knows how many hours I have spent with my friends playing this game and just going on rampages with the Panzer and various cheats.

Honestly I'm a little disappointed in the decline in quality of radio stations in the newer GTA installments. Makes me want to boot up Vice City again.

Well, I have to say its San Andreas for me aswell. The setting of the game and the story line is probably the best of the series including GTAV.
The biggest dissapointment for me was probably GTA IV i just didnt feel anything for the characters in that at all and while it was a good enough game, not havingnany empathy with the character your playing spoiled it for me.

Vice City is easily my favorite, I don't think it will ever change. The cast were terrific, the story was awesome and the soundtrack is the best in out of all GTA games. So much to do even after you beat the game, I must have 100% it over a dozen times.
