Microsoft has just stepped into the health focused wearable market with the newly unveiled Microsoft Band. This wrist wearable will monitor your heart rate, track where you ran via GPS navigation, log how many steps you’ve taken, track your sleep and more.
The wearable market is getting crowded but Microsoft Band has some features not found in other fitness trackers. One highlighting feature is the able to talk to Cortana and sync to other Microsoft products like Office. The Band can also provide navigation via voice and even has a UV monitor so you know how much sunscreen to wear.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem likely that this Band will be able to play Xbox One games though.
The Microsoft Band is available to purchase at Microsoft stores starting today and set to retail for $199.99.
