Hey guys!

BFG was also one of my favorite books growing up. Have you read his non-children's fiction? His short stories are great.

He also wrote several of the James Bond screenplays. You Only Live Twice among them.

I think I only read the BFG. About 10 years ago, someone made a movie of James and the Giant Peach in the Tim Burton/Nightmare Before Christmas Style of stop motion. My mom loved that movie. After seeing the various incarnations of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I should probably read the book one of these days. Just too many darn good ones to read. And it is difficult to do so while playing WoW.

Your mom's breath smells like feet! (just 'cause)

I never actually saw James & the Giant Peach. I've read the book. (I don't think there's a Dahl kid's book I haven't read ...)

I movie version of the BFG would be great! I remember getting a really cool feeling of experiencing something great at work in a different time when I read "Danny: Champion of the World" and found a reference to the BFG in there. Proof of the author at work, formulating ideas over many years. (the BFG novel was published 5 or 6 years after Danny).

If you like that, you should read Vonnegut. His short stories have a certain set of themes that you seen repeated and refined in his other short stories and novels. Welcome to the Monkey House is my favorite Vonnegut collection, I highly reccomend it.

So I saw Pirates 2 last week. I enjoyed the movie while watching it. Depp is just a genius with his performance. Looking back on it, though, the story was only meh. And that denumount (sp)might rival Return of the King. I'd like to see it again, and I eagerly anticipate Pirates 3.

This Friday though...RICKY BOBBY. Like Anchorman before it, there is absolutely no way, it is physically impossible, that this movie not be awesome. I may go see it opening day.

Who cares? The movie still kicked ass. Full of pretty people, explosions, and sword fights. Although there were times when the movie felt like a ripoff of the Monkey Island video games. Orlando Bloom is so very Guybrush Threepwood.

I haven't seen either. When it comes to comedies, I don't really feel it's worth the 10 bucks to see them on the big screen. I fully intend to see both movies, but not until they're out on DVD. It's much cheaper that way.

Ricky Bobby was absolutely hilarious. I have not yet seen Clerks 2. I think the next movie I shall see will be The Prestige in October.

BATMAN

Speaking of Batman, am I the only one disturbed by the fact that Heath Ledger has been cast as the Joker?

Ok I need some help. I just bought the thing that makes your name glow, but I dont think its working...
And whats the difference between username and user title?

I'm afraid I can't help you there Silent. I have yet to try the Pimp my Name. However, I believe Silent is your user name and Frogger is your user title. I could be wrong though. It has happened numerous times. And Katie, I was a little disappointed by the news, especially seeing as the rumor I heard was that Paul Bettany was going to play the Joker. I can visualize him in the role much more easily than I can Heath. But I trust Nolan. We shall just have to see.
